DAY 1 : TRANSFER TO THE HOTEL OF MARRAKECH

We at Morocco Local Travel organises Sahara Tour from Marrakech. Pick up at the airport in Marrakech and transfer to the hotel. DAY 2 : MARRAKECH - AIT BEN HADDOU - VALLEY DEL DADES (350 km)

After breakfast, you will cross the High Atlas Mountains, through the highest Tizi port in Tichka (2,260m altitude), you will pass through interesting villages until you reach the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987) , a fortified enclosure inside a walled town that surely they will recognize, since this citadel has been the scene of very famous films. After the visit of this kasbah, we will pass through Ouarzazate and the impressive palm grove of Skoura until we reach the Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight in a hotel located in the Gorges of Dades.

DAY 3 : DADES - GORGES OF THE TODRA- DESERT OF MERZOUGA (360 km)

The next day, after breakfast, you will continue your route through many Berber villages. You will visit the Gorges of Todra with the possibility of eating there, to take advantage and see the impressive place with tranquility. Once the visit is over, they will go directly to the golden dunes of the Erg Chebbi, where they will start the dromedary excursion, making a stop to watch the sunset, until reaching the desert’s heart. Upon arrival, an excellent and refreshing tea awaits you, an exquisite Berber dinner, all enlivened by the music of the tam-tam (drums). They will enjoy a unique and unforgettable night, thanks to the large number of stars that populate the desert nights. They will sleep in Berber jaimas.

DAY 4 : DESERT OF MERZOUGA - VALLE DEL DRAA - MARRAKECH

You are already in the desert! This day, mandatory early to see the sunrise from the top of the dunes and back with camels to the hostel for breakfast and shower. Desert road exit to the Draa Valley, composed of more than 10 million palm trees. They will pass through Ouarzazate where they can stop to eat. DAY 5 : MARRAKECH - TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT
